FLEX-NET VIDEO AND INFRARED MULTIPLEXER

Imagin Systems FLEX-NET Video and Infrared Multiplexer System provides the dental practice with a low cost way to network your Imagin, Insight, DENTSPLY New Image’s AcuCam, Concept III or Polo, ViperCam and other intraoral cameras and printers in every operatory without having to move a cart full of equipment between operatories. The FLEX- NET Multiplexers are very easy to install and can be easily re-configured to allow for expansion with three different models within the same enclosure. The FLEX-NET Multiplexers also have unlimited expansion to more FLEX-NET enclosures. The FLEX-NET VM5/IR can control one camera and one printer in up to five operatories or up to four cameras and one printer in up to four operatories. The FLEX-NET VM9/IR can control one camera and one printer in up to nine operatories or up to eight cameras and one printer in up to eight operatories and the FLEX- NET 2xVM5/IR is two VM5/IR multiplexer modules in one enclosure. When multiple cameras are sharing one printer, the addition of the FLEX- NET Switcher Control Panel is required in each operatory. The FLEX-NET Multiplexers respects patient confidentiality where the only monitor that can display the image of your patient is the one in that operatory. The infrared control unit allows wireless remote control of centrally located video devices, such as video printers, VCR’s DVD, DSS, Laser Disc and CD-I Players. Optional wired footswitch control is also available in each operatory for capture and multi-image select, retake or print.

291-80 CFL Friendly IR Receiver:

This version of the 291 has been specifically designed to have great immunity to many sources of infrared interference and to have exceptional IR reception range. In particular, it has high rejection of IR interference generated by compact fluorescent lights (CFL) and will also operate in direct sunlight!

2 input/8 output RF Video Amplified Splitter

Channel Vision amplified splitters offer high performance, versatility and a “future ready” solution for video distribution. Unlike ordinary RF splitters, the CVT-2/8PIA amplifies the incoming television signal providing a 4 dB gain to each of eight outputs compared to an 11dB loss associated with most 8-way splitters. This 15dB advantage insures a strong and balanced signal throughout the system as well as insuring no signal loss on cable runs up to 100 feet long. It also features a bi-directional return path for use with interactive TV and high-speed cable modems. The internal combiner provides a convenient way to add a modulated channel and has its own separate amplifier circuit providing a 2dB gain. An optional power injector (model #CVT-PI) can be used to power the CVT-2/8PIA from a remote location.
